   Overall lovely service with a great ambiance and delicious food. A little pricy but what isn’t these days. My friends and I had a great time.

   Tony the bartender is amazing not to mention the chefs working behind them. My partner & I enjoyed a delicious array of craft cocktails that were interesting & full of depth. The Yakitori was nothing short of delicious cuts of proteins and hearty veggies!

   Food is delicious, get the yakitori sample. 6 skewers was the perfect amount with a shared shrimp tempura app. Sebastian behind the bar was making great drinks all night.

   Overpriced, menu different from website, out of many items, items ordered were never brought to the table (no rice, no salad, etc)

   Great date night location! Beautiful, intimate sushi in the heart of Virginia Highlands. Fantastic menu but I would recommend sampling chef recommendations. That includes the drinks. Sebastian has done it again. IFKYK! If you’re feeling adventurous , work with him on creating a unique drink just for you. You will not regret it. This is a must try in Highlands!

   This was a great, little hole in the wall restaurant. It felt like one of those tiny, intimate, nyc restaurants. There were only 6 tables in the place and the bar, so the noise levels were low and the vibes were immaculate. The decor, the lighting, all the little small touches made the dinner a very enjoyable experience. The food was also delicious! We got the crunchy tuna roll, the yellowtail crudo, the gyozas, the chicken Yakitori, and the vegetable Yakitori to share. Everything came out fairly quickly but we never felt rushed. The “yes, yes you do” cocktail was sooooooo good. Truly so unique and not too sweet. Prices are definitely a little high here but in my opinion you’re paying for the ambience and intimate atmosphere. Will be coming back!

   This was the most delicious and creative dinner I’ve had in a while! Chef Hugo was creating magic behind the bar, and gave a 5 start experience to my husband and I! Justin and Julio were incredibly knowledgable, and crafted an amazing culinary experience for all guests (and the drinks were straight fire!!) I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, and will be back asap!

    Great restaurant with super cool vibes! The rating was given for the following reasons: 1. For the 6 skewer option on the menu, it does not notate anywhere on the menu that this is the chefs selection. Maybe that’s common sense and a me issue, but I was planning on picking my 6 and that was not an option. No big deal, just think they should put that on the menu 2. The major kicker was the staff. Granted, it was a Tuesday night so I can see where typically 1 person to run the restaurant would be plenty (theres only abour 5 small tables and a bar). However, I’m assuming it’s due to VaHi restaurant week, but the place was slammed with only one person bartending AND waiting on all of the tables. Needless to say service was slow and things were forgotten. Overall, the food was really great quality and delicious, same with the cocktails. Great ambiance and I like the size of the restaurant, it reminded me of being me in NYC. Would revisit!
