   Yakuza staff are very welcoming. The drinks and food come out in good time, and the waiter explained the specials well. The hamburger is really good. The ribeye was pretty special, I don't think they serve it all the time. The little potatoes on top were crispy and delish. The Trio sushi is good too. I had the tiger roll and it was pretty spicy. Sometimes we sit at the bar. There were families there with little kids, tho they don't have a kids menu there is something for everyone. My only complaint: The miso soup was a little too mushroomy for my taste.

   We went during happy hour for a quick date night. Such great food, we tried pretty much everything haha. So happy we stumbled upon this place!

   This was our second visit to Yakuza and we enjoyed every delicious bite! After having stumbled across the restaurant a few months ago while bar hopping with friends who were visiting from out of state, we were wowed by the freshness of the sushi, the inventive sides and the Yakuza burger—we would say the best in Portland! We couldn’t wait to go back. Again, we brought friends to share the experience, having raves to them about Yakuza. We all enjoyed it. The atmosphere is super cool, with moody lighting, lovely bar and beautiful murals. The large windows offer a great street view and, it appears that, in summer they are able to roll up doors off the bar to open it up—I want to return for that experience.

   I'm a little bit obsessed with the yakuza burger right now. The salmon tataki and tuna poke are also great. All 3 salads are top notch. Great food all around.

   We've been here both as a couple and with a large group including children. Both were great experiences. Good place for sushi newcomers since the menu has so many other options. The hamburger is to die for. Go ahead and try to order only 1!

    Food was great, portion size small to average. We did shared plates between four of us and one of our plates was the scallops. Apparently you get three bite size scallops in an order and we said to our server “Really? You couldn’t have just squeaked four onto our order so we could each taste one?” To our surprise he was back a few minutes later with a forth scallop. How sweet. The poke was excellent. Great server and great service. We would go back.
