What a lovely experience! It was my first time there, and it exceeded any expectations I had. We enjoyed the fried green tomato BLT as an appetizer; I ordered shrimp and grits; my husband ordered the short ribs. Both were divine! Flavorful and presented beautifully. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and most pleasant. He didn’t miss a beat. Two different managers came to our table to introduce themselves and check on our experience. They even treated us to a banana pudding cheesecake. That was above and beyond. We left feeling totally content. The food was delish and the service utterly delightful. We can’t wait to try the Yard Bird location in Miami, where we live.

This location is designed really beautifully, I’ve only ever been to the Vegas location. Our server was friendly enough . The food was eh. Not spectacular, everything seems a bit bland other than my daughter’s Cobb Protein bowl, that chicken was seasoned really well. My younger daughter and I ordered the ribs to share. They came out in a glass dome covered plate and she immediately wanted to lift the lid off to let the smoke out . ( she’s 8) The server ( different from our regular server) abruptly said “ no, she’ll break it “ The ribs were fine, nothing special . Third daughter ordered shrimp and grits , again , bland but edible . We also had biscuits and the Mac and cheese . Both fine , not amazing . I also ordered one chicken thigh. The first one came out and tasted stale like they reheated an old one . It was chewy . The second one came out and it was fresh but the meat was rubbery so I sent that back as well . The manager came over to check on us to make sure someone didn’t go without a meal and I thought that was nice . We didn’t order dessert because at that point I didn’t want to pay for something else that might be disappointing.

Have been here several times and all experiences were great. To start I had their old fashioned which was well balanced. For the table we had the Texas Twinkie which was very good (three of us ordered two twinkies). The fried chicken never disappoints and it’s great they offer a gluten free option as my son has celiac. The sides are also consistently good and this time around we had the brussels sprouts which were excellent. For desert we tried the (gluten free) banana pudding cheesecake which was very good. I’d order all items again. Service was great as usual. Would highly recommend.

One of the BEST meals we’ve had in Chicago! The chicken was amazing! Vegetarian options were almost nonexistent but my vegetarian daughter was satisfied with the heaping Caesar salad. Excellent service as well!!

Everything was a bit pricey. Though, for the chicken dishes you do get a half a chicken, so it’s a lot of food. I was there on a Saturday night and it was busy. The service was slow. Overall, I don’t think I need to go back.

Friendly knowledgeable server. Had to wait just a bit for the tab but overall very good service. The gluten free chicken was outstanding and the shrimp and grits were well above average but just 30 seconds too much cook on the shrimp for me but great flavored sauce. The collards had half a pigs worth of smoked hock in them and an amazing peppery but smooth pot liquor. Sprouts were very good and also spicy a bit sweet for me but wife loved em. Had. Nice ipa but didn’t get to try their large selection of bourbons. Will be back to these for sure.

The food was great. Our service was exceptional. It took a little while to get our food and I’m not sure why but once we had it, it was delicious.

Really great find for brunch! Lots of drinks on the menu, a great bottomless mimosa deal, and fun brunch food. Just a bit pricey for some things but what isn’t these days?
