We enjoyed our dinner at Yardbird. I had the Sweet Tea Short Ribs and it was delicious. My sister loved the waffles from the Chicken and waffles

Upon arrival, the open-kitchen aromas were inviting and sense-surrounding. The menu offered fine print in a small font on off-white paper stock with lots of unused space. (Why do so many restaurants insist on making menus hard to read?!) They required more light and reading glasses to decipher. Very rich flavors yet rather bland in seasoning. Chicken could be crisper. And better salted. Ribs, sweetly sauced and smoke-domed, gave me a rough night of sleep. The over-the-top burger was an ingredient or two too many to handle. Duck confit gumbo, alas, was not available as described due to a lack of rice(!) and our surprise at an attempt to substitute mashed potatoes for it, which we declined. Surprisingly good but pricey wine list. No bin numbers, so communicating precise French and Italian wine names was a challenge. Servers should present bottles before opening to announce the wine and make sure it’s the right one. Our server was charming and helpful, as was the empathetic manager with the rice/potato news and consequent offer of complimentary (excellent!) house biscuits. Overall I expected more polish and more flavor but we had a very fine time nonetheless!

This was our date night preference over any other restaurant. We loved coming here because the food had so much flavor. After many warnings that the food was no longer tasty, we ignored and went to experience for ourselves. We hadn’t been since the summer and I must say, this was the first time I was so disappointed. The food was so unsatisfying and bland that I couldn’t even finish it. Although we were warned my several regulars, I couldn’t believe it. Everything lacked flavor. I’m not sure if the recipes were changed or if it was the cooks. We sadly won’t return.

Christmas dinner at Yarbirds was fantastic. Service was great and food excellent we will go back.

Food was good. Could have been faster. But understandably it’s Christmas. So no worries. But the manager was very courteous to come and apologize for the slightly delayed service. But otherwise everything was good. Although one thing, I have eaten at yardbird in Las Vegas that tasted different and I personally liked that more. But my wife liked this yard bird as well

I don’t enjoy writing negative comments about restaurants but as someone who grew up on southern food- hard pass and a hard no. The food was sub par. The atmosphere was stunning! The service impeccable. The food, almost inedible. It was so bad that I give this place 2 yrs max before it closes. This is a foodie town. It won’t last

This was my first time at Yardbird and we had a great time. My bf loves bourbon and we opted for the “Dealer’s Choice” bourbon flight. Leni our server was amazing and she took the experience seriously. It was a joy to watch her and her crew select the options and even more of a joy for my bf to try them. When we go back, we would definitely request her service.
