Won't return. Giros lamb looked like lamb shank meat, it was full of grissle & couldn't eat it, chicken was ok. Chips not good, tiny salad only covered in oil. Love the Dips & bread ....

Yassas served great food and the fixed menu was completely filling. As a group of eight, we couldn’t finish it all and we made it out for about $100 each including all the drinks. More importantly, one of our group had special food requirements, which they met even within the group, set menu booking. I recommend the balcony on a warm windless night. Perfect night for us…

Food was delicious but service was terrible. After our food was brought out we didn’t see a waiter for an hour. We needed to find our own water, ask for side plates to be cleared, and even when we asked a waiter to come and take drink orders they never came - so we ended up somewhere else!

We were disappointed this visit primarily due to the lack of service we received. The check in was OK as we had booked on line but while there appeared to enough staff our table of 4 was overlooked. Entrees& mains arrived together, plates were not collected after eating for approx 45mins and we were not offered drinks after initial round meaning lost sales. We eventually had to flag down wait staff and they tried hard to compensate. We won't be back in a hurry but hope this note spurs some positive change.

My 3rd booking at this restaurant. The 1st a couple of years ago was very good. Unfortunately today's experience was disappointing. The quality, and freshness of ingredients was poor. I would not return to Yassoss again

We opted to have the banquet for 3 adults at $89 each which is at the higher end of most Greek Restaurants in Melbourne. I’m not a very fussy person when it comes to food and will try most things but this place was a very poor choice for us! The Drinks were really warm and flat. The ice completely melted within a minute of hitting the table. Trio of Dips - The bread was processed “commercial quality” and it didn’t taste fresh. It was enough for 2 small triangle slices each. The Dips were hot like they had been sitting out or pre-made and had a film over them. The calamari was small ring off cuts (think 10 cent pieces), deep fried and enough to have one tablespoon full each. The zucchini fritters sucked (deep fried, soggy and tasteless). For mains, we were served one small chicken stick each and fatty lamb that was very salty, undercooked and tasteless. It had no authentic Greek flavour, char grilled taste… The prawns were wrapped in pasty and deep fried, tasting more like something you buy in the frozen section of the supermarkets, the fish was not great either. It came with a single small bowl of Greek salad, enough for 3 people to have a couple of small cubes of tomato and cucumber each. It says the main is served with chips (over seasoned and cold) and tzatziki dip (which was desperately needed to disguise the flavour). The dip wasn’t supplied so we asked the waiter and was told we would have to pay “extra” even thought it stated on the menu that it’s served with the main. Overall, I’d say this place is a generic, franchised version of Greek food, it tasted and felt like “fast food”. Won’t be returning!
