Chef Lon Symensma and the CRC team are excited to announce a new concept opening this week in Downtown Denver — YumCha Dumpling & Noodle Bar!

Inspired by the bustling noodle shops from Chef Lon’s travels around Asia and time spent in New York City, YumCha is an upbeat and cozy spot for lunch, dinner and happy hour in the heart of Downtown Denver.

We can’t wait to welcome you in to try our handmade dumplings and travel-inspired noodles. Let’s get slurping!

                                        Popped in for a late lunch and was surprised that there was only one person on service duty. She did a good job, but could have used some support. It looked like we came in after a rush, because several tables needed bussing. They were also out of a lot of dishes, but "swiped" some trays from ChoLon. The food was tasty, but the dumplings looked dried out. The sake we ordered was delicious. Overall, I don't know that I would go back, because the food and the vibe didn't warrant the prices.

                                        I've eaten at YumCha a handful of times and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the menu changes frequently enough that you can always try something new.

                                        Food taste very savory vinegary. We ordered 2 different dimsum and both came inside the oil. I dont prefer to eat oily food and I was suprised and didn’t want to order any more and we left.

                                        Hi ezgic. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience at YumCha. We have many different dim sum and dumplings that are not cooked in oil. We would have been happy to find you something else to try. We hope you decide to come back and try our food that isn't "oily".

                                        Went for bottomless soup dumplings. Delicious. Always came out piping hot with very little wait. Will definitely be back. The chorizo harissa on the eggrolls was bomb, BTW.

                                        We were excited to try this restaurant but were disappointed. The food was marginal: fried food was greasy; soup dumplings under-cooked, flavor was ok but soup part was gelatinous and dumpling gooey and undercooked. Service was grudgingly provided; won’t be going back.

YumCha is known for its flavorful, Asian inspired food and friendly service and it seems like we weren't on our game the day you come in.                                         Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants in the united states. Chef years ago was extremely warming when I meet him years ago and that flows into the food and service. Consistently being great is hard to accomplish but they do it here
