Fantastic food and even more fantastic service! The maître d was outstanding as was the bartender. Both made such an effort to be personable and check in with each guest periodically despite running a full house. They were both highly impressive and made our evening. By far the best service we’ve encountered anywhere in the Hill Country! The food was served piping hot, flavorful, and well composed. The shishito peppers and duck shepherds pie were deliciously outstanding. I look forward to trying other menu options as these certainly made me want to come back for more. The space itself is beautiful with old pine beams and limestone walls. The restaurant was full, so it was a touch noisy but not a deal breaker. I might suggest a better distributed sound system for more audible music to distract from the noise. This restaurant is a much-needed gem, with excellent service and a very fair price point considering the high quality put forth. We will certainly look forward to our next visit, and there will be many to come. Bravo, Zanzenberg!!!

Once again a fabulous meal at Zanzenberg. The Chicken Cordon Blue was cooked to perfection and delicious. The Duck Confit Shepherd’s Pie was amazing. The food here continues to raise the bar for Hill Country cuisine.

This is my favorite restaurant, I love the dining experience, great food and exemplary service. It’s a friendly environment and I always feel very welcome and comfortable at this restaurant. I have introduced my friends and feel confident that they will enjoy the Zanzenberg Tavern as much as I do. Anthony and Edward are awesome hosts. We’re lucky to have them in the Hill Country.

The food is very good and well priced . The service was also very good without being stuffy. Friendly accommodating staff. Only down side is it is rather noisy.

This gem of a restaurant is tucked in the hill country and is quite arguably the best restaurant for miles! The food is amazing. The service is completely charming and the ambiance is perfect! It was such a delight to dine at Zanzenberg Tavern. Edward is an excellent chef; we are looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for the great evening and the super dinner!

Ringing in 2025 - A perfect New Year’s Eve at Zanzenberg Tavern. We had the most incredible New Year’s Eve celebration at Zanzenberg Tavern in Center Point, Texas. We spent the evening enjoying an intimate six-course dinner that truly exceeded expectations. The special menu was thoughtfully crafted, with delightful drinks to start and a perfect pairing with dessert. Every course was flavorful and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and intimate – a perfect balance of privacy while still allowing us to engage with friends and other familiar faces. The seating was well-arranged, making it easy to enjoy conversations without feeling crowded or overwhelmed by noise. The temperature was comfortable, and the entire evening felt effortless and cozy. Anthony and Edward were gracious, welcoming, and made the night feel extra special, as always. The waitstaff was polite, attentive, and truly wonderful. Zanzenberg Tavern holds a special place in our hearts, and this experience reaffirmed why we love coming here so much. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a unique and intimate dining experience – whether for a special occasion or just a relaxing night out.
