Valentine's Day - Zarak This Valentine's Day, Zarak will present 4-course prix fixe menu featuring unique Afghan, and Afghan-inspired dishes. There will be vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. This event is non-refundable, but transferable, if given us notice. There will be a 2-hour seating limit. Kindly plan accordingly for timely arrival.

Here’s an example of a positive restaurant review: Delightful Dining Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zarak, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure every detail of our visit was flawless. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Our table opted to start with the fried chicken and both dumplings followed by the Silk Road with an order of Brussels sprouts, and it was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The presentation was stunning, and you can tell the chefs take great pride in their craft. To top it off, the dessert menu was a highlight. The chocolate mousse was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.

The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing or interruptive. We felt welcomed and enjoyed learning about this cuisine. Care was taken to ensure the member of our party who has dairy sensitivity didn’t have dairy included in family-style dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! Lamb was tender, spicing was flavourful heat overpowering the flavours. The birthday we were celebrating was recognized by the staff without it being a show. I Highly recommend Zarak! We’ll be back!

First time at the restaurant. I can see why they charge for no-shows. It’s a small restaurant and we were seated at the bar. The drinks were amazing! The food beyond delicious (we had the mantu and eggplant dip for appetizers, and the bolani and lamb kabobs for dinner). The service was so well paced and informative. I can’t wait to go again!

Food and service is amazing. But inside seating is very congested, making the overall ambience quite noisy. Overall, they made our day very special.

All dishes were absolutely delicious! We had mantu dumplings, Uzbek palaw, and the Silk Road mixed grill platter. The lamb shoulder was amazing! Very tender and full of flavour. The service was excellent! There's also a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. We'll definitely be back.

Great service and food! Have been there a number of times and it’s always good. The only demerit is that it is very noisy.

This is one of our favourite brunch places. Staff is friendly and attentive, it’s a fun atmosphere and the food and drinks are incredible!!
