Posto bellissimo, cibo fantastico ma per la location che c’è e l’ambiente troppo casino fatto dalla gente, non c’era modo di parlare con chi avevo davanti..

We are big Jose Andres Fans. We’ve gone to so many of his restaurants and had loved our experience at zaytinia DC. Out of excitement we went out of our way to come to the Ny location and were very disappointed. The Brussels sprouts were not as crunchy and a bit undercooked compared to the DC location. The Adana kebab was too thick, bland and did not taste good. It came out cold. The bread was never refilled. This experience was widely different from our experience at the DC location. The server was very inattentive. One of our drinks had dust floating in our cups and it took us asking 3 times to 2 different people over 15 minutes to even get a cup of clean water. It was just all very disappointing and not up to the Jose Andre’s restaurant standards to be honest.

Delicious! Every dish was carefully prepared and we loved each one! The whole sea bass was a highlight - so tender.

Mezze’s were good, family style lamb shoulder was barely edible, meat was extremely tough, couldn’t eat most of it. I’ve been to the DC location multiple times and expected a similar quality of meal. Highly disappointed.

World class !!! We splurged on the chef’s menu and loved every course. The ambiance is dreamy and service impeccable.

Review for Zaytinya NYC Having loved the Zaytinya location in DC, we were thrilled to try the NYC spot—and it did not disappoint! Jose Andrés has done it again, delivering an exceptional dining experience with incredible flavors and top-notch service. The food was simply outstanding, with every dish perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The mezze selection was just as flavorful and creative as we remembered from DC, and the staff was attentive and welcoming, enhancing the entire experience. We were so impressed that we almost went back for a second night—it was that good! If you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just want an unforgettable meal, Zaytinya NYC is a must-visit. Absolutely worth it!

We had the Adana kebab (went for seconds), hummus, baba ganoush, celebration rice, hot coco and Turkish coffee to top it. The food was amazing - I was expecting a long wait but not at all - we were in an out in less than an hour. My family that generally avoids baba ganoush (almost) licked it off the plate. Only thing I wish for is more stomach space.

We were seating 30 minutes late which was frustrating with a reservation. Overall everything was solid besides that. I also wish the food came out at a different pace so I guess I should have been more specific with the waiter.
