We had a wonderful lunch today at Railcar. I ordered the French Onion Soup, and it may be the best I've ever had! My friend got the soup and the French Dip, and she loved both. The portions are generous, and the service was exceptional!

Service for our food was great but service at the bar was pretty terrible - stood there for 20 minutes before someone even acknowledged us. I realize it was New Year’s Eve, and they were very busy, but it appeared that they were understaffed at the bar, which is not the bartender’s fault. However, some friendliness and acknowledgment would’ve been appreciated. We received neither.

First of all, Open Table really saved the day for last minute NYE plans. We made our reservations and were seated in less than 10 minutes. The Rail Car is such a great experience. It feels like a special occasion without being fussy. An excellent menu of food and drinks which manages to include unique tastes and an offering for everyone. Our server was busy but efficient and attentive. I witnessed great team work of fellow wait staff running food for each other to keep the evening and experience flowing for everyone. On such a busy night to have your order as specified, hot and in such a brief wait was amazing. Highly recommend both Open Table and The Rail Car.

Food was absolutely amazing. I realize it was New Year’s Eve. Our reservation was for 630….we did not get seated until 7:15. Our waitress was busy and MIA fir great length of time. We’ll be back!

Went on New Year’s Eve so menu was limited and servers seemed really busy. Food was tasty but lukewarm, likely sitting for a while before someone was able to run it to our table. Since it was so busy I felt bad sending it back, but normally I would’ve had them heat it up more. Ambiance was okay. Photos online made it seem a little more trendy/moody than it is. It was pretty bright in there which kinda changed the whole vibe. We ordered the bread service (pretzel brioche rolls with butter) and crab bisque to start. I got the salmon and my partner got the steak frites and we both really enjoyed our meals! To finish, we got a dessert that was on special, I think they were called raspberry beignets? Those were very tasty, like jelly donuts! I would probably return on a less busy evening, in hopes that the service would be a little better. The food is definitely worth a try!

Everything was amazing at Railcar for New Year's Eve! Our server, Adam, was a true pro, so knowledgeable, and pushed our evening up over expectations.

We are for lunch in New Year’s Eve. It was very nice. Being lunch, the crowd was not large at all. I will say that in the many times we have dined here, we have never ordered anything we didn’t like. It’s an upscale yet relaxed, casual atmosphere. Whether you are in a suit or sweats, it’s a place you can enjoy and have a fantastic meal. The staff is wonderful as well.
