Well known and loved for wild game, steaks and seafood, Rainbow Lodge features lunch, dinner & Sunday brunch. Owner Donnette Hansen's attention to detail is reflected in everything from the comfortable refined log cabin setting & landscaped grounds to the seasonally changing menus. Insider's tip: go for the business lunch ($19 for three courses). Sophisticated but not stuffy! Menu hits include elk chops, grilled buffalo tenderloin, smoked rainbow trout caviar topped tater tots and Lodge smoked duck gumbo. Do not miss the famous TIED FLY BAR! with its crafted cocktails and views of an acre of grounds, the bar is the most popular seat in the house. Often voted best patio in Houston, Sunday Brunch enthusiasts enjoy casual patio dining with $2 mimosas. Sunday Suppers feature half price wines by the glass and a $18 comfort food special.     Excellent service and food as usual. I’ve been here multiple times, but this time brought some guests from out of town. They truly enjoyed the experience.

    I have been here multiple times. Food was good quality but expensive for what was served. I was disappointed in the special (halibut). Stick to the main menu, especially the wild game options, and you can't go wrong. For the first time, I had a mediocre waiter: didn't ask for drink orders, and when I asked for an iced tea, I never got it. Despite all of that, I would go back. The ambiance is unique. The food is great (if you stick to the main menu, and the service is usually stellar.

    We always enjoy going to Rainbow Lodge. The croissant bread pudding is delicious.

    Our business lunch special hit the mark! Lovely seasoned halibut, my husband really enjoyed the Friday 3 meat burger. Beautiful atmosphere with the much appreciated fireplace during this cold snap. Staff were so accommodating and attentive, will definitely return soon.

    Service was knowledgable and fast despite the crowd. Unexpected crowd size for mid-week, so noise was a bit higher than expected. Food was delicious, as always.

    Lovely as always. Service was impeccable and the food was beyond compare. We brought relatives for their first visit and we’re already planning our return.

    Buena comida pero pueden mejorar el servicio, la hostess va muy mal presentada y el mesero podría hacer un mejor trabajo en calidez y atención. Por favor capaciten a sus empleados.

    Very overpriced for the value of what you get in food quality and portion’s. The waiter seemed snubbed to our order which consisted of several shareable, entrees and a few drinks. Once we ordered and got served the waiter never returned for a follow up or refill or to simply check in on our food order. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the price point did not meet quality or service.
