Wonderful pre-performance, during and post experience. Food was solid for the prices and felt truly like a well spent dinner and a show

Ate dinner at the Rams Head Tavern prior to a show at the Rams Head On Stage. The dinner was not fancy or elegant, but it was perfect for a pre-show meal. I didn't feel stuffed, or uncomfortably full. There was a 10% discount since it was a pre-show reservation, and if you use Gotts Garage a QR code is provided for a discount on parking fees. AND, as a long-time Annapolitan and semi-frequent customer, I do believe the Rams Head Tavern has lowered their dinner prices post pandemic!

We are here during the summer and had a very nice experience which is why we decided to come back and bring another couple. Last night’s experience was the complete opposite. The place was very crowded, very loud and the service was horrible. When the waitress finally showed up, she kept telling us how busy she was. We were never offered refills on our drinks the entire meal. I got the fish and chips which were the worst I have ever had. The fish was greasy and absolutely tasteless. The French fries were soggy and half of them were almost raw. If we weren’t pressed for time (we were seeing a show next door) I would have sent it back. Later, when talking with a local, we were told that their food is hit or miss- 50% of the time it’s ok and 50% of the time it’s horrible. They suggested several other great restaurants nearby, which is definitely what we will choose the next time we’re in Annapolis.

The service is always efficient and pleasant. Monday was half-price hamburger night, so you couldn't beat the price. We always get the burger because we've been disappointed with their other menu items in the past. So if you want a good burger, a good drink this is your place.

A great night at the Ram's Head! We had tickets to the 8 pm show, so we made dinner reservations for 6:15. Table was ready when we arrived a little early. The pacing of the meal was perfect, as we finished up right around 7:30. We had the pretzel appetizers, which were perfectly baked and nice and warm. My shepherd's pie entree was delicious, and just the right serving size, leaving enough room for the peanut butter pie dessert. The pie was good but not quite peanut-buttery to my liking. This was my first visit to Ram's Head since 2017 and it made me vow to return more often!

Always a good atmosphere at Rams Head Tavern! Was impressed with the increased quality of the food and service since my last visit (a year ago). Will always visit the Tavern before every show!
