Red Gravy offers upscale casual modern Italian fare.
Chef/Owner Eric Brenner spent his first decade in the industry inside Italian kitchens. Talking up St. Louis' wide-ranging Italian eatery scene, which gets as specific as regional specialties, he says he's wanted to have a place like this since he was 18.
"We're going to start very simple and accessible," he says, "we'll play to the crowd and start a dialogue, then grow the menu with community input."
"Simple," includes dishes like his tomato bisque, with which only has five ingredients. "It's all about the perfect balance. And that gets back to the essence of good Italian food: quality ingredients, very few, in perfect balance." Other examples include his St. Louis-style, thin-crust pizza, best compared to a flat-bread.

The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is fun, and it’s a great date spot or a place to celebrate family events. Highly recommend and some of the best Italian food in CO Springs!

                                                                                Everything was yummy, good sized portions too. Recommend if you are headed to the performing arts center to leave ample time because the restaurant gets really busy at 6pm and would make it too close for comfort to make a 7:30 pm show. Get there early as the waitress was swamped.

Never noticed it but was on google looking for somewhere with gluten free options for a family member visiting. They loved the gluten free pasta & another family member said the gluten free was better than their regular pasta!! We enjoyed everything. The appetizers were so good! Food was literally heavenly too! Can’t wait to visit again.

                                                                                I had the Campanelle Stroganoff, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a pizza and really enjoyed it as well. We started with the toasted ravioli appetizer — it was fantastic! For cocktails, I tried the Val Kilmer, which was also excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and charming, and our server, Gracie, was very pleasant and communicated wonderfully throughout our meal. We were seated quickly, and the prices felt very fair considering the quality and generous portions. We’ll definitely be back!

                                                                                Our server was incredible! He was very accommodating and did not rush us! He let us enjoy our meal and conversation! Because of him , I would definitely go back! The food was delicious as always!
