The food was excellent. The noise level was ridiculous. We had to shout to have a conversation. Less enjoyable than it should be.

The noise level is so high, it is very difficult to have any conversation. The food is terribly overpriced for the quality. The service was OK but I had to get up from my table to find our server to obtain our check. She essentially forgot about us. This is my second and last try at Red Salt.

Dining at Red Salt is a gourmet treat food wise. However the experience is quite negatively impacted by the extreme noise level in the dining room.

I made this rating based on our dinner, which was outstanding. The kona lobster gnocchi was rich and delicious. The decor, atmosphere, and service were excellent. However, we returned the next morning for breakfast and it was terrible. The lattes were made with an automatic machine and tasted awful. The avocado toast left something to be desired. The fruit plate was mediocre. The loco moco was decent. And the service was horrifiic.

This is a timeshare resort and you get or use points to dine. We came as non guests and the menu was overpriced and the entrees non imaginative. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was full of dark blood meat and was very overcooked and dry. Our Anniversary champagne was not chilled properly and the bar flutes were dull and not sparkling clean. They were not chilled and having less than cold champagne in cheap glasses was very disappointing . There was no tablecloth and the fine dining was combined with the bar and lobby . The waitstaff were very pleasant but obviously less than well trained. I would not return and the experience would be a one and done, and avoid. There are wonderful chefs and excellent restaurants on Kauai, this is not one of them.
