Located in downtown Los Angeles, Redbird is carved into one of the city’s most historic edifices, inside the rectory building of Vibiana – a premier wedding, events and performing arts venue. Chef | Owner Neal Fraser and Owner | Operator Amy Knoll have crafted a beautifully dynamic restaurant space within which to enjoy Chef Fraser's critically acclaimed Modern American menu. Wine Director Christopher Dugan’s wine list is well-rounded with great finds from both established and emerging regions throughout the world. Bar Director Tobin Shea's cocktail offerings feature well-balanced, bespoke renditions of the classics, as well as inventive and inspired originals. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available for brunch, happy hour + dinner.

The Main Dining Room offers open air dining under our retractable roof with views of the Vibiana bell tower and the upper balconies of the rectory building. The Lounge offers dining tables along the banquette and windows overlooking 2nd St.

                                                              Cool place. Food was average but not worth the price. Valet is $15 during the day. That’s a bit much for dtla. Staff was very nice. Had the fried egg sandwich. Not great. And the short rib with egg, that was ok.

                                                              The yam side dish was undercooked slightly. The yams needed another few minutes. They were still very firm. Otherwise everything was great.

                                                              Horrible GM in a vest at the front desk threw our entire experience off. Lovely maitre d was obviously embarrassed by her behavior. I had booked for outside which is lovely for brunch and they kept us waiting even though I had a small child and tried to stick us in the lounge. I showed them that I had booked on open table for the main dining room. The nasty delivery on this woman who took great pleasure in telling us that when we changed the number of seats it put us in the lounge. I explained that we had schlepped downtown for an hour even though there was outdoor festival with street closures that made the restaurant barely accessible and we would wait for the main room. You know when someone’s delivery and nastiness makes the difference between a good experience or bad. This lady was zero sympathy zero kindness just totally cold. I used to come here all the time and am never going back. They could have been kinder especially since the restaurant had several empty seats and tables in both areas. Too bad because the waiters were lovely.

                                                              The service was exceptional. Everyone was so nice and the food was really delicious! The only reason for knocking off 1 star was because both dishes that I had ordered were a little spicy. It was spice that I could handle but I wasn’t expecting it so I wished that the waiter made that known so I could have picked a different item. Overall the duck confit and short rib has were still really good and would order again.

                                                              One of the best recent dining experiences I’ve had in LA. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great.

                                                              Really wonderful experience at Redbird for our 10th anniversary. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was fantastic and romantic. Definitely will be back!
