Appena ci siamo seduti al tavolo ci hanno chiesto la carta di credito che ci è stata restituita solo a fine cena e conto già pagato senza che prima potessimo controllarlo Menù scarno, considerato anche che era la sera del 24 dicembre, il volume della musica impediva una normale conversazione anche con la cameriera che comunque è stata gentilissima Peccato perché il posto è molto carino

I was there on a cold winter day. But ate on the patio, enclosed in plastic walls with view of Empire State building. Charming, if small, semi-outdoor space. Food all around quite good. I enjoyed a burger with a nice side salad. Would have preferred one thick patty, but it was two thinner patties. Not a big issue. Prices were a tad high, but you're paying for ambience. I would go back certainly.

On open table I was asked to chose my seating, but did not get our table. We were seated on uncomfortable patio furniture that had a low table. For drinks it would have been ok- but to attempt to cut food and eat from a table. That is below your knees is ridiculous! Unfriendly wait staff. when asked about recommendations in the menu she was not helpful. Would not recommend! Drinks in the bar area may be a different story!

The sandwiches were not worth $30 apiece, not to mention they charge you per fountain drink. Service left a lot to be desired. The views were the only thing worth it.

I booked this reservation a few days in advance because I had some family visiting from out of town. We booked Refinery as a nice rooftop with a view to go to after my cousin and aunt’s first ever Broadway show. Initially, I was struggling to select between refinery rooftop and RH rooftop. But went with refinery since it was closer to the theater. I regret this!! When we arrived, the hostess could not find my reservation, even though I showed her both the confirmation email and the OpenTable reservation, which I made at least a day or two in advance. It was embarrassing to have family feel like I hadn’t planned for them. When we sat down, my elderly aunt was finding it difficult to cope with the noisy and busy-body children at the table next to us. So perhaps not the most thoughtful table to seat us at. To top it off, my aunt got sick at the end of the night. I suspect it was due to the food, but of course one can never be certain. Needless to say, I would definitely not return, and advise others to avoid as well.

Restaurant could not locate my confirmed Open Table reservation- team member stated it was an ongoing issue and Open Table reservations do not come through to their system. They were able to seat us and besides issue with reservation, brunch was delicious and view was wonderful.

Very disappointing customer service. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation wasn’t in their system. The manager, who was quite rude, informed us that we couldn't sit on the patio and offered us seating in the covered area. We asked if we could wait for a patio table, but the same rude and unprofessional manager said it would be almost impossible, as those tables were reserved for guests with reservations (which we had, and I provided proof). After waiting for some time, we decided to leave. Just as we were about to enter the elevator, the hostess came over and said she had managed to get us a table outside. Overall, the experience was poor. The food was decent, but the service was awful. We had to get up several times to ask for assistance. I do not recommend this place. The manager needs to be replaced!
