Fabulous evening at Indian Essence. Food was outstanding as always.

Amazing food. I had the Veloute of Jerusalem artichoke with a poach hen's egg and I was in heaven, mellow artichoke taste, not too over powering and the mix with the egg was perfect. The main coarse was the fillet steak and is the best fillet steak I have ever eaten. I guess the only gripe is that on some of the main coarses you will have to order extra sides so the cost increases. I had French beans with my steak and they were lovely but the potatoes were dry and some of the food was not piping hot, it came out to us warm but I would still highly recommend it to everyone. Oh yes, the service from everyone was absolutely first class and there is only a 7.5% service charge whereas other places I have been to charge 12 or 12.5%.

The service was good and the food was also good value for money. I also enjoyed the choice of music playing in the restaurant which was at the perfect volume to be able to enjoy a conversation.

Attended for Sunday lunch with friends. It was our second visit and both times have been great. Restuarant is huge and ambience suffers a little if it is quiet. Menu is good if perhaps a little predictable, although what they do, they do well. But overall very impressive.
