The food was perfect temperature, and extremely tasty. We were very happy with the freshness, taste, presentation of our food. It likely won't be your fastest meal--especially if it gets busy--but drinking and dining in the oldest operating hotel in Washington is absolutely worth it. As part of the Adrift group, the menu and food preparation are exceptional. The staff are lovely and the drinks well-made. And dining in the almost 130 year old building is worth the visit, alone. Admittedly, the Shelburne is a personal favorite. We had the lobster, salmon and everything was cooked to perfection! The ambience is calm and relaxing to help is courteous and friendly. I am not seeing that negatives of the other reviewers, but our meal was super enjoyable and great value.
