Bellissimo Ristorante Italiano features breads and pastas made fresh daily with a pasta making station in the center of the modern Italian eatery.

Bellissimo’s signature dish is Spaghetti, made fresh daily by hand with White Sonora wheat from the Yaqui lands of Vicam, Sonora. In addition to Spaghetti paired with a variety of made-from-scratch sauces such as a Rustic Tomato Sauce, 30-Clove Vodka Sauce, Bolognese, Alfredo and more, the menu also features an array of classic Italian favorites such as Chicken Parmesan, Gnocchi, Chicken Marsala and two varieties of Baked Lasagna, as well as shared plates and starters, bruschetta, salads, soups, sandwiches and house-made desserts.

In addition to the extensive menu, the bar at Bellissimo offers a selection of draft and bottled beer, as well as an assortment of specialty cocktails. The restaurant’s wine list features a large selection of highly rated wines from Italy.

                                                                              Good service. Sangria was weak on the EtOH side and had too much syrup in it. No fruit BTW. Italian wedding soup was good. Chicken marsala was a little cold when I received it, and the flavoring was slightly bland.

                                                                              Had a 5pm reservation. Only 3 other tables occupied. Waiter took our drink orders, left then came back and asked for our orders. We had planned on having our drinks, enjoying our friends company then ordering our entrees. Waiter came back with drinks and asked for our choice of entrees again. We felt rushed but gave him our orders. Our entrees came out just after the drinks. I ordered the Chicken Piccatta. What arrived was a dry little cutlet, perched on grey mashed potatoes and swimming in 1 inch of what looked like soup...the pan juices had not been reduced to a sauce...just a watery mess that floated the vegetables. The others at table had cold food or unattractive plates. We usually eat at PY Steakhouse and have always had a very nice, unrushed dinner. We had reserved sat Bellimisamo becuse PY was full. None of us will go back.

                                                                              Tried to charge our bill to our room. Server didn’t know how to do this. It was immediately charged to our credit card that was on file at the hotel. We had resort credit but they didn’t seem to want to take that as an option. Food and value good but not what we expected.

                                                                              When we received our bill/check we decided to pay the $10.00 tip in cash. The receipt reference 15400210 did not include a tip however our server must of added the tip after we departed the restaurant. We noticed the discrepancy while checking out the next morning. When we questioned the charges the hotel staff said we had to take it up with restaurant ? Maybe this is a new business model that the restaurant has enacted. Shame on you Bellissimo

                                                                              We had the worst meal at this restaurant. My husband had 2 separate entrees; both were horrible. First ordering the Cioppino, the sauce tasted like raw tomatoes and the fish and shrimp were over cooked and rubbery. Ordering a second entre of chicken fettuccini alfredo, the pasta was undercooked, and the sauce was so watery it had absolutely no flavor. Our waitress, Mia, was very sweet and extremely apologetic. Unfortunately, our next encounter was with Oscar? Manager? do not know who he was as he never introduced himself. Not only was he condescending to my husband but came very close to calling my husband a liar. Although, my crispy chicken Picatta had some flavor except the potatoes were lumpy and like glue. The butter sauce had to be drained into another plate because it was swimming in it so the crispy under part of the chicken patty was no longer crispy. In all fairness, the calamari were edible and had flavor. If Oscar is truly a manager, he needs to go back to training for dealing with customers. Horrible experience. Thank goodness we decided to go somewhere else for our actual anniversary dinner the next evening.
