Located in the Upper East Side, Tang By MR. SUN offers a unique fusion of Eastern and Western culinary traditions. Our founder envisioned a place where Chinese cuisine is celebrated for its elegance, not just the familiar heavy, oily dishes. We pride ourselves on using premium ingredients, such as filet mignon for our Beef & Broccoli and tiger prawns in our Shrimp Satay. Our culinary journey began with a small eatery near Rockefeller Center, where our seasoned chefs, recruited from China, honed their skills in adapting authentic Chinese flavors to suit the local palate. We've since added a young chef to our team, bringing new flair and modern presentation to our dishes.                                                                                                               Fantastic high end Chinese food on the Upper East Side. The food was wonderful. Highly recommend the soup dumplings to start - both beautiful and delicious. We also loved the Moo shoo lettuce wraps. Had the salt and pepper shrimp - massive and yummy shrimp and the fried rice was great. You really can’t go wrong. Also, very pretty place with excellent service and nice decor.

                                                                                                              First time diners at this restaurant which fell very short of a recommendation. Soup dumplings had no soup, dumpling too thick and starchy, proper utensils not provided. Filet mignon dish was dry, tasteless. Chicken and broccoli was unexpectedly sweet. Fried rice was thankfully not greasy, just okay. White tablecloths, nice decor.

                                                                                                              This new restaurant is a gem on the Upper East Side. The food presentation and taste are exquisite. The portions are generous and delicious. This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in ages. And it's beautifully designed inside. Comfortable and beautiful tables and chairs and design throughout. I highly recommend Tang by Mr. Sun.

                                                                                                              A special thanks to Chris and Ahmad who were excellent & attentive servers. This was the best Chi was food we’ve had in a very long time. Beautifully served, great ambiance and decor. The guava mango flute and sweet and sour chicken with lychee were amazing! Can’t wait to return to try new dishes.
