Located in the Upper East Side, Tang By MR. SUN offers a unique fusion of Eastern and Western culinary traditions. Our founder envisioned a place where Chinese cuisine is celebrated for its elegance, not just the familiar heavy, oily dishes. We pride ourselves on using premium ingredients, such as filet mignon for our Beef & Broccoli and tiger prawns in our Shrimp Satay. Our culinary journey began with a small eatery near Rockefeller Center, where our seasoned chefs, recruited from China, honed their skills in adapting authentic Chinese flavors to suit the local palate. We've since added a young chef to our team, bringing new flair and modern presentation to our dishes.                                                                                                               A special thanks to Chris and Ahmad who were excellent & attentive servers. This was the best Chi was food we’ve had in a very long time. Beautifully served, great ambiance and decor. The guava mango flute and sweet and sour chicken with lychee were amazing! Can’t wait to return to try new dishes.

The food was amazing, the bartender and manager were outstanding (all of the staff is, actually). I always really enjoy myself when I come here! It looks super fancy but is very affordable which I love. Great for date night, family time or enjoying a solo evening.

                                                                                                              We were 5 friends who dined together last night. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious and it is not at all noisy! My only complaint was that it was a bit expensive, not typical of Chinese food. But the food wasnt typical either. It was unusual and every dish was well prepared. The staff was lovely too!

                                                                                                              We waited for an hour before leaving with no food. They just kept saying it’s coming out. It’s coming out and it never did so. We didn’t even taste any food. Quite honestly terrible service terrible management.
