Roaring Fork is an American Western Bistro. We utilize a combination of ingredients indigenous to the American West and locally grown, including produce, to capture the 'spirit' of the west. The restaurant offers a comfortable, laid back environment that includes friendly professional service and the highest quality food. A great deal of attention is paid in creating the recipes and always using ingredients that are found in the American West. Western cuisine is not a ceremony; it's a celebration! The robust flavors and the courage to try something different is what we are all about. We would like to invite everyone to experience our 'spirit' while enjoying our food and hospitality.

                                                                    The very young hostess sat us next to the kitchen. When we asked for another of the numerous empty booths we were told sorry we are all booked with reservations. We also had a reservation. The waitress only said no we can’t do that when asked questions. Very slow on beverage service. The staff we interacted with appeared to not be very well trained. My wife asked for a container to take home her unfinished stew. The container was brought out eventually but then we had to ask for a bad to put it in to carry it out. Lots of little annoyances added up to it very mediocre evening.

                                                                    One of my favorite places but last night it wasn’t. First time on the patio, tables were too big, not much light and felt cold(not temp). Food was wonderful, as usual, but service was very weak. We had a young man and it seemed he was new or didn’t want to work that hard. Not personable and was a bit lazy not clearing the table in a timely manner. Their service is usually top notch and have many long time employees but unfortunately this gentleman needs to find another job that he likes. But we will retire and won’t hold this standard. Also won’t sit on patio again. We’ll wait for main dining room.

                                                                    Roaring Fork is an outstanding restaurant. Excellent food and service. Nice warm ambiance. Over the course of our 5 nights in Scottsdale area, it was by far our favorite spot.

                                                                    Roaring Fork is one of our favorite places and we usually try to keep it in our scheduling, particularly over the holidays. It is a charming place, wonderful atmosphere, and the wait staff is always the best. Of course the good feelings of the season prevail! The food is always tops although we usually wind up getting the amazing fried chicken. Sides are always wonderful and the desserts are to die for!! Cocktails are always tops. The only drawback is the parking as I am handicapped and sometimes the walk to the front door is a little much. Most restaurants of Roaring Fork's class have valet parking, but I guess they get along fine without it! We will return again and again. Have been making it our regular for New Year's Eve for a few years now.
