Roaring Fork is an American Western Bistro. We utilize a combination of ingredients indigenous to the American West and locally grown, including produce, to capture the 'spirit' of the west. The restaurant offers a comfortable, laid back environment that includes friendly professional service and the highest quality food. A great deal of attention is paid in creating the recipes and always using ingredients that are found in the American West. Western cuisine is not a ceremony; it's a celebration! The robust flavors and the courage to try something different is what we are all about. We would like to invite everyone to experience our 'spirit' while enjoying our food and hospitality.

                                                                    Great menu. Wanted 80% of the entries. Seared ahi was good. Short of great. Mixed salad greens was good along with the angels envy old fashion. Wife's trout was good. Veggies were not as fresh as desired. Service was okay - not great. Steaks looked great and mashed potatoes were good.

                                                                    We had a lovely dinner at Roaring Fork this evening. The service is top notch and the restaurant itself offers a warm ambiance that makes one feel welcome and important. We will definitely return.

                                                                    I chose the Roaring Fork, Scottsdale, to celebrate my 75th Birthday. I struggle in noisy restaurants; the Roaring Fork is lively but not noisy. I chose it over more expensive restaurants because Roaring Fork offers reliably tremendous value at a moderate price: delicious food, marvelous ambience, terrific service. We were seated in a lovely booth that already had a birthday card on it, signed by many of the staff. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail with the sauce on the side. The shrimp were sweet and firm and the cocktail sauce slightly spicy and just right. My entree was the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, regular seasoning, not the spicy choice. It was crispy on the outside; the chicken was cooked through but still juicy and tender, with creamy mashed seasoned just right . For desert I ordered my favorite chocolate pecan pie and substituted vanilla ice cream for the butter pecan offered. The chocolate and pecan flavors blended well without one overwhelming the other. Service from Kelso was gracious, impeccable, friendly and appropriate for a 75th birthday. The pie arrived with one candle lit. I highly recommend the Roaring Fork for any occasion, and especially for a special occasion.

                                                                    Love this place! One of the few reliably good restaurants in Scottsdale. Nice menu, reasonably priced for Scottsdale, great service and you actually talk with out loud music!
