When the hostess took us to our table to seat us, she also informed us that there was another reservation at 7:30pm. Our reservation was at 5:30, and we arrived early. We felt rushed and didn’t finish our conversations because we felt under pressure. If it was just me, I would have walked out the moment that was said. I have never been into a restaurant that basically told me that hurry up in order and eat so we can get the next person in.

Great restaurant! I took my boyfriend's parents here for dinner while they were in town from Chicago. They absolutely loved it, and the portions didn’t disappoint.

This was the first time in 15 years we had a bad meal served to us. Clearly burnt and the meat on the skewers was truly unrecognizable. Anna who was taking care of us downstairs was a superstar dealing with it! Also the manager came by to apologize and brought a new order pretty quickly. This type of service & care is what makes Rokerij on the top of our list still. We left knowing the situation was being taken care of, feeling cared about as a customer and once corrected the food was again, amazing!

Great restaurant Benn coming to the third re restaurant for years. The food is good incredible selection of wines by the glass. They do need a remodel. It’s looking pretty tired.

We eat here on a regular basis. The food is so consistently good. Last night we all stuck with the New Mexico plates. Lots of spice and flavor. These can be a bit much for those on the sensitive side to spicy, but it’s just great that you can find a place that doesn’t water things down for the masses. I love taking out of towners here, as there are lots of options for those folks that don’t want New Mexico food. Excellent steaks, chops and their seafood is some of the best you can get in town. Portions are always generous and the service was just excellent. I almost hate to write this review as it may help increase demand. They have been around here in town for decades now and there’s a reason that they’d survived. Just a great place and I’m lucky to live nearby.

This is the first restaurant we go to when we come to Phoenix as long as we can get a reservation. Always great food and service. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting great food with a bit of New Mexico flair.
