We took my mother-in-law here for her 92nd birthday yesterday. Everything was great and all of the staff made sure it was a special occasion and that we felt like family. The food was fantastic- especially the fresh ahi poke, tasty and meaty pork ribs appetizer, japchae, and eggplant with rice cakes. Add blackened ahi to these last 2 entrees. It’s melt in your mouth fantastic. The Thai lime tart was amazingly delicious as was the seasonal pumpkin crunch cake. We can’t wait to go back again soon.

Great food, the lobster bisque was amazing and the presentation was superb. The special of the day was ono and the sauce was delicious. The filet was a little too much salt for my liking but overall a delicious meal.

Service was great from the moment we checked in with the host. Thanksgiving menu offered a 3 course meal, however both of our desserts (the last course) ran out, since there were only two choices, we didn’t want the other one. They didn’t offer to deduct or a discount to the bill. Roy’s used to be our family’s favorite restaurant, they closed the Pasadena one, thought we would drive to the Anaheim location and give it a try. The whole experience was ok but a bit disappointing.

We were really impressed. We had Thanksgiving dinner, everything was done very timely. Food is always very consistent, and good. The service was great.

Roy's is indescribable! I don't say that about too many eateries but this one is the exception. We've been following this chain prior to Covid. Unfortunately, my Pasadena location didn't make it through the pandemic. However, Anaheim is nothing short of exceptional. Try anything! You are guaranteed to love it. But it you are a steak person like me, go with the filet mignon and mash. Be prepared to fall in love - it'll be inevitable.

Great Maui Salad and bacon Parmesan crusted sea bass!! Yum. The beef ribs are my husband’s favorite. We both enjoyed the desserts of pineapple upside down cake and chocolate volcano cake. Always a good place to celebrate. Nice and efficient service too.
