   Pur avendo dichiarato per scritto e ricordato telefonicamente che era la cena per il mio compleanno, nessuno se ne è ricordato. Non capisco quindi perché lo chiedono. Posso pensare ci sia stata solo una disattenzione. Avevo chiesto di poter avere un tavolo per 3 persone prima dell’ora propostami. Questo mi è stato incomprensibilmente negato senza riserve visto che al nostro arrivo il locale era quasi deserto (solo 3 tavoli occupati). Dopo 15 minuti dal nostro arrivo hanno chiuso la cucina! Incomprensibile visto che la prenotazione era stata definita dal ristorante. Non è serio proporre un servizio standard di ristorazione e poi chiudere la cucina! Abbiamo preferito ordinare una bottiglia d’acqua in quanto quella offerta non era di nostro gradimento. Alla richiesta di un paio di bicchieri aggiuntivi ci vediamo consegnare alcuni bicchierini di plastica trasparente. Servizio scadente per un ristorante che vuol essere inserito tra i migliori in questa zona.

   The special, seafood Mac n cheese with lobster, shrimp, and crab $46 was awful. It definitely did not taste like Mac n cheese but rather a bowl of tomato basil soup with Captiva pasta and seafood, topped with a dusting of cheese. It was super salty. Disappointed and left hungry.

   We loved seeing the fish tank wall while dining. It is a nice experience. I had salmon which was delicious and husband enjoyed the crab legs. Staff was great.

    Dinner and a show. We dined seated next to a huge aquarium and enjoyed the view. This restaurant is a gift shop, an area to view the aquarium and a large restaurant. The restaurant is very casual, run of the mill type place. I had thought it was a nicer restaurant to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our server was Maranda, and even though I commented on how cute she looked, she really didn’t engage much with us. I had a glass of wine and my husband ordered a gin and tonic and we shared the snapper ceviche with large tortilla chips as a starter. The ceviche was fresh and tasty. My husband had the spicy seafood linguine, which had a generous amount of grouper, shrimp and mussels; however there was no spice and it was lacking flavor. I had a hearts of palm salad with avocado and crispy chick peas and grilled shrimp with plantains. The cilantro lime vinaigrette was just OK and I had to struggle with the shrimp to get them off the skewer and finally had to use my fingers. When I made the reservations, I noted it was our 20th anniversary and they hostess said happy anniversary. However our server did not acknowledge it nor do anything special like a complementary dessert. Disappointing. Food was okay, swimming fish entertaining. I wouldn’t go back, though. I think the gimmick of the aquarium draws people in.
