Known as chef to the winemakers, Chef Russell Lowell is a hands on chef. Cutting all our proteins in house during the day and working the grill at night. He creates a menu that considers seasonality and wine pairings. We are a local favorite in the Bothell area. Located in a historic hay barn, we are the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or a date night away from the kids.

Food and service were great. Unfortunately there was a corporate event happening upstairs where awards were being handed out and the party was raucous. Constant cheering and yelling throughout our meal. Not the fine dining experience our party of six expected. If you’re hoping to enjoy conversing with your dining companions, I would recommend choosing another restaurant.

Wonderful as always. We come to Russell’s often and it was great to have our favorite server Rebecca with us for our Valentines date. Food is delicious as always. This is the best place for filet in the Seattle area.

Ordered steak medium rare, came back rare - sent back to get cooked further and still came back rare. We also noticed 2 other tables near come back rare and sent back. Felt too uncomfortable sending back again. Usually love this place, not sure if tonight was a fib but when you pay $70 for steak you should receive it how you ask it. We also felt like the others that sent it back were better catered towards as we were younger, and not regulars. Cancelled our valentines day reservation due to this experience.

It's been awhile since we've been to Russell's and glad we went back. Dinner was wonderful. Our server zach was friendly and timely in checking in on us. Salads were good and perfectly sized. We had the sea scallops (5 large ones) and the duck breast for entrees and would recommend both. We won't wait so long to go back again.

Russell’s Restaurant is a hidden gem with a cozy, rustic-elegant ambiance perfect for special occasions. We usualy celebrate birthdays here, and this time it was my sons 14th birthday.. The food was outstanding—highlights include perfectly seared scallops, tender Filet Mignon, and a rich yet crème brûlée for dessert. The wine selection is excellent, with staff offering great pairing suggestions. We had glass of malbec, and was very pleased. We had couple of cocktails begore and after our dinner, which was greatly appreciated. Service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who enhance the dining experience. They have made this night unforgettable Whether you’re local or visiting, Russell’s is a must-visit destination for an unforgettable meal.

Went here for date night. Very nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. We had the duck and steak. Drinks and mocktail orders were good, though it did take a minute, because there was only one bartender for the whole place at one point. Worth the money.

Steak was not cooked to order (they must have used wrong sous vide bag), duck was ok but risotto was watery, mushrooms were okay as well but of the 4-5 times I’ve had them there these were my least favorite

The food was not worth the cost. Almost every dish was incorrectly prepared. Steaks were either not cooked to order, too rare or too well done. The New York strip was tough and chewy. Side vegetables were slimy or too tough and dry. The mussels in the appetizer weren't cooked properly, some of the shells were still closed. The best parts of the meal was the crisp dessert and their house wine, pretty disappointing. The staff was friendly and kind and the space was warm and cozy.
