Ruth's Chris Steak House serves the finest aged, corn-fed USDA Prime beef. Broiled in a trademark 1,800° oven & served on a plate heated to 500 degrees, your steak is presented sizzling hot at your table.

    Great service and food was delicious. The South Carolina restaurant week included Ruth Chris Steakhouse and the meal was good for the price.

    We had a good time and enjoyed the food. Would have given higher score but 1 of our 6 meals did not arrive for 10+ minutes after everyone else’s meal arrived. Not a huge problem, but you go to a place like Ruth’s Chris for top level service. To learn that one of our entrees went to the wrong table and 5 of us either had to eat or wait while our sixth had to wait and watch us eat was not the premium experience. We did not complain, so concessions were not offered for our inconvenience, (but this will come into my decision for our groups next dining experience). Overall we had a very enjoyable time and a very good meal. Steaks were great. I would not have left a review but OpenTable sent me a request for an honest review of our experience.

    Had planned a nice dinner with my wife and my daughter that was in town for the night. They both ordered filets , med rare . I ordered the t-bone med rare . Their filets were cooked as ordered and my t-bone was way over-cooked . Probably med well+. Server took it back and it then took about 20 minutes to return with new steak . The second steak was maybe even more cooked ! The server agreed both steaks weee not cooked as ordered .By this time my wife and daughter were about finished and we had all eaten the sides . It totally disrupted and now it was too late to get a third steak and enjoyed while we all ate plus sides were gone. This is unacceptable for a $70 steak . Our dining experience was ruined . I was offered a complimentary slice of cheesecake . Manager did eventually take off the charge of my steak , but I would have much rather enjoyed and nice steak with my wife and daughter and paid the $70 . Not to mention that staff couldn’t decide which server would have our table . Seemed very unorganized and poorly managed . Terrible experience .

    Exceptional service and food, from reception to table. This was a quick trip to Columbia- ate lunch and dinner there and both were excellent. Justin at lunch service was a standout, very kind and helpful. What a nice surprise for a chain restaurant!

    Food was great. What happened to the "posted" dress code. Over half the people there was inappropriate for business casual. Sneakers, mid drifts & cutoff shirts We hadn't been to the restaurant an a while we thought it was a good opportunity to go back. Based on my experience last night I am likely to not go back.

    Lobster Mac and cheese and my lobster tail was brought out cold to me! Felt like it was sitting in the window for someone to pick up

    We haven’t been to a Ruth C in a long time. I remember having the best meal. I was disappointed in the food. The steak was nothing special. The lyonnaise potato were dry. The asparagus was great. I don’t think the experience was worth the money. I probably wouldn’t go there again.
