Ruth's Chris Steak House serves the finest aged, corn-fed USDA Prime beef. Broiled in a trademark 1,800° oven & served on a plate heated to 500 degrees, your steak is presented sizzling hot at your table.
Additionally, the menu includes select fresh seafood & other meat entrees, including seasonal specialties like foie gras, buffalo strip & scallops.     The Columbia location totally misses the mark. Every single side was lukewarm-potatoes, gumbo and spinach. The crab cakes were lukewarm on a sizzling plate. I read the negative reviews. However, I overlooked them because of my previous experiences at other Ruth Chris locations. The Columbia location is a very poor reflection of an otherwise stellar brand. This is very unfortunate because the brand is tried and true at other locations. I will no longer count on the brand professionally or personally as a result of this experience.

    They have a dress code but was not followed. Sweat pants and gym shorts. Soup was cold, wife's app was cold, steak not cooked correctly then came back looking terrible, side dish of my potatoes well these were just fried potatoes no caramelized onions or fresh herbs. Was looking forward to a nice meal with my wife. It didn't happen, for the money I could have had a kings meal at a lessor known place. VERY DISSAPOINTED!

    My sever was good but our food didn’t come out hot and my husband steak didn’t come sizzling we come often this is our first bad experience

    We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time. The server assigned to our table was polite. That’s about where the positives end. We waited an hour for our meal to arrive. The server and manager apologized profusely, citing a “mix up in the kitchen” as the reason. At these prices, a “mix up in the kitchen” is an unacceptable reason for a one hour wait for a meal.
