It was great dinner! Out server did an awesome job! Only copmplaint is food took about an hour to come out after the appetizer. Other than that, great time!

We had reservations at 6:00 p.m. with a show starting next door at 7:30 p.m., which is generally ample time. When we arrived on time we were told our table wasn't ready - no apologies or urgency - just "your table should be ready in 10-15 minutes. The hostess acted like she could care less about the wait. We were finally seated 20 minutes late. We told the server we needed to leave for a show at 7:30 p.m., but we still needed to hunt him down for the check at 7:20 p.m. We ordered wine with dinner and that never arrived so we had to remind the server and didn't get the wine until more than halfway through dinner (wine specifically ordered to pair with the steak). We rushed eating and just made it to the VanAndel 2 minutes prior to doors locking for Moulin Rouge. We've never had these types of issues at the Chop House and will not be going back to Ruth Chris for any special events or pre-show dinners based upon this experience. The food was good - not amazing, so I don't see why we'd ever go back when their prices are similar to much more professionally run restaurants.

Not only did the food taste amazing but the staff was amazing. Our server was polite and very knowledgeable on the menu as it was our first time being there. I can honestly say we have never had a server as nice and professional as him. Highly recommend going if you haven't been before.

I ordered the bone-in NY strip. While the flavor was good (though not exceptional), the temperature was off, which is disappointing for a restaurant at this price point. The corn salsa was enjoyable, and the Caesar salad was decent, though unremarkable. The ambiance at this location remains a highlight, with a pleasant atmosphere and moderate background noise that still allows for easy conversation. The wine list continues to be a strong point as well.

While the entire team was polite and welcoming, our server Ben really stood out. Knowledgeable, helpful and attentive, his friendly demeanor and gentle guidance throughout our delicious meal elevated the experience to create a perfect evening for my son and I. Thank you Ben!
