Our Terrace seats up to 42 guests in round tables and can seat up to 30 guests at one large conference-style table. Room is equipped for A/V.Our Sunset Dining room seats a maximum of 65 guests for social events and up to 50 for presentations and seminars. I never complain but our plates must’ve been sitting a while because you know how they come out sizzling hours or not sizzling. I got the Ruth classic it’s supposed to come out a 6 ounce late. That was no 6 ounces. It was like 3 ounces. The meat seems smaller than normal. Trust me. I know this I get it all the time. I haven’t been in probably a couple months and it is changed a lot. It’s not as good as it usually is.. Then it was our birthday. Usually they bring two people‘s birthday. Usually they bring the dessert out and sing our waiter de and sing to us. Nobody sang to us thought that was weird.

We were seated near the bar area, which was somewhat noisy. Additionally, one of the televisions was malfunctioning and was distracting due to its proximity to our seating.

Server was great but the food was terrible for the price. Disappointing overall and took forever to get drinks.

Tried to increase the number in our reservation but was told they could not accommodate us. Yet there was over 25 empty chairs in the restaurant. When I asked about it I was told that they did not have staff to support us. If you have staff to take care of 4 people then you should have it to serve 6 or even 8.

I had a very horrible experience at this restaurant. The wine steward was rude, obnoxious and downright unacceptable. To the point where I almost wanted to leave. The weight staff and the bus staff was fantastic. The food was great, but it was a bad experience overall and I’m gonna tell everyone not to go there and I will not be back.

The overall experience at Ruth’s Chris has declined quite a bit. It no longer holds the excellence in service standards it used to. Beverage service was slow and the knowledge of wines was lacking. Our server was new, but he did a good job considering. Thankfully the food was still very good. We enjoyed our night out but will consider other steakhouses in the future.

We dined there last night. Maybe the hostess did not mark us in but we had an excellent meal. We sat at a table by the bar.

Wonderful birthday dinner for my husband. Allie, our water was terrific. Ate at Capital Grille two nights ago and this was much better.

Don’t you hate it when you decide to try a different steakhouse and then they just ruin the experience bringing the main course with an incorrect temperature? This is a steakhouse, they should know how to cook a ribeye with the correct temperature, unfortunately we received a well done steak and had to wait until they replaced it…. Of course when the new one arrived all the other persons in the table were already done and all the sides were cold by now. To make it even worse, this was my wife’s birthday and her dish was the one that was incorrect. With all the different steakhouses and restaurant options that we have in the north suburbs, I will definitely won’t be back at this place.
