At my reservation, I put on there it was our anniversary. From the young lady who seated us and brought me a rose to Rodney who provided us with a dessert for our anniversary at the end, it was so special and made us feel that way. Our meals were new york strip and ribeye with the mushrooms, mashed potatoes, salads and asparagus. All of it was more than delicious! I had a couple cocktails, which were perfect. I've eaten at Ruth Chris a couple of times in New Orleans but my husband had never experienced it. I have never been disappointed at Ruth Chris. This meal was exceptional due to the staff! Our Anniversary meal was excellent!

Always an outstanding experience. Our server, Bruce, was fantastic! He took great care of us and was so much fun! Food and drinks were excellent as always. Our "go to" place for celebrating!

the meal was just off and not what we expect from ruth's chris. martini came without the requested twist but olives. bread was taken away while we were still enjoying and as the salad hit the table. steaks came when we were half way thru the salad. baked potato was requested without sour cream but had sour cream. the wait staff was very friendly. the steak was cooked well.

The food and service was great. However, we had always be seated in the the dinning room. However, we were offered the bar area and asked to be seated in the dinning room. We were told there were no opening in the dining room and were offered the basement. Since we were already there, we accepted basement seating. The seating was OK but not up the the atmosphere in the dining room for example there were, as you can expect in the basement, no windows. The overall quality of the area was not up to the standards of Ruth Chris. If Ruth Chris is going to select seating options without the dinner being notified, we should be asked where we want to sit when we make the reservation. This option exist in OpenTable for other restaurants. In my opinion, it is not possible to have an overall great experience sitting in the basement. We will request sitting in the dining room when we make our next reservation and ask that they confirm that sitting arrangement before we make the reservation.

We’re greeted quickly and then after about a five minute, wait, we were seated. Jonathon, our server was warm, welcoming, gracious, and took care of us very well without “hovering“. He was a tentative, and his selections were spot on. He was knowledgeable about the restaurant and the menu as well as the cocktail and wine menu. We ordered the ribeye and the sirloin and they were both prepared exceptionally! Barely or lightly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Ambience was wonderful and the background music featuring Sinatra, was spot on. It was my first dining experience at this restaurant and it was delightful. Thank you for a great New Year’s Eve dinner!
