The atmosphere was inviting. The waiter mediocore. However, the value would deter me from going back. Two people one appetizer, two drinks, and two steaks with a tip was 410.00. It was Christmas Eve and a special occasion but that is a little to the extreme. The steak was delicious but not worth the return.

Everything was great except the greeting station. I stood for literally 5 minutes before being acknowledged. At that point I asked if I could check in. It seemed that I was an annoyance. Finally I was acknowledged, but then no other information. I finally asked if it would be a few minutes as we would step aside and wait and I was told that, yes, it would be a few minutes and we stepped aside. We have been to Ruth’s Chris many times and have never had this experience before. After that, everything was great!

It was Christmas Eve, the place was crowded. We had reservations in the bar area but we really wanted to sit in the dining room and they made it happen! We had a wonderful meal with very attentive waiter and the room was buzzing with happy holiday vibes. It was a really nice experience.

This restaurant already has a good reputation, so I’ll just list what was lacking. The Server: ordered everything at the same time, which was unpleasant and created chaos at the small table, he didn’t know how to properly slice the $149 steak, (which btw I doubt was a premium steak) or how to present it, and it was delivered at the wrong temperature, which was obvious when he cut it yet he didn’t offer to recook it, and we hardly saw him throughout the meal. I under tipped.

It is always consistent there. We have enjoyed different waiters more than others over the years. This time we had Lindsey. She was amazing. She made it a great over the top experience. I will always ask for her.

My wife had the steak and shrimp. On her first order the steak was not cooked. The manager replaced her entire meal! I had the lamb ribs. They were just right. The service was outstanding. One of our best meals at Ruth Chris.

We are locals and have honestly overlooked this place for the last years. It was amazing. Best steaks in town but the best of our night was the service. Thank you Jamile for an outstanding dining experience. My husband and I will definitely return!
