Our server, Matthew, was knowledgeable about the menu. He kept our evening at a relaxed pace, allowing us to enjoy each delicious course. Our steaks were done to perfection. The creamed spinach is amazing, as are the potatoes au gratin. We tried the white chocolate bread pudding at our server’s suggestion. It was a wonderful dessert to end our evening.

Ok, here’s the deal - downtown stl gets a bad wrap. Sometimes it’s warranted and other times it’s just not totally fair. This location is perfectly placed in the great setting at the shadow of the arch in the hyatt hotel lobby. Easy parking (both safe street and parking garage) and easy access. Take the journey. You wont be dissatisfied.

The atmosphere was festive, low noise level and the service was spectacular. As always, the food did not disappoint. I’ve never had a less than stellar experience here.

My fiancée and I came here for a special night out and were not disappointed. Our waiter Weston made the evening- he was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the entire menu, with recommendations ready to go. The steaks, brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes were delicious. While eating, restaurant owner Ben came out to say hi and make sure everything was perfect. To wrap it up we were given two small cheesecakes on the house to celebrate our special evening, and it put the bow on top of a wonderful experience at Ruth's Chris.

I have not one negative word about our experience! This was to celebrate my parent’s 40th wedding anniversary! They were absolutely delighted and every guest enjoyed their meal!

Our evening at Ruth’s Chris began in the bar, which had a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The bartender was polite and friendly, and the wine selection offered several of our favorites.. Once seated, our waiter’s personality and friendliness enhanced our dining experience. The sautéed mushrooms were delicious and a perfect companion to the steaks. The sweet potato casserole is rich and indulgent, it was fabulous—it was a delightful highlight of the meal.

The staff wasn’t welcoming. I arrived and the greeting was dry and the hostess asked if my party was there and I said no they are parking she just walked off. Another person came up and was just as dry and said they were finding a table. We finally were seated and were instructed we had til 9p to order because kitchen closes. Why would you take a 830p and stall to seat if the kitchen closes. We asked for another round of drinks, the bar was closed. Food was fine and waiter was too. Just didn’t appreciate the lack of welcoming and hospitality
