Little Sicily) ri Chicago. Sè, nuatri a Chicago nun putemu cchiù iri o ristoranti (Como Inn closed in 2001 after 77 years in business) e manciàri chiddu chi gli antenati vulevanu farci sapiri ! Ma cca semu stati novamenti riportati a la grandezza. U proprietariu, chi dici ri èssiri natu a Giurgenti, mi ricorda i cumpagni ri Sammuca Zabut e Calascibbetta (Ross's Barber shop on Devon Avenue) ntra i quali sunnu crisciutu. Innanzituttu, l'aragusta era incredibbili ! Pi secunnu luco, a carni ri vitìeddu era effettivumenti allattata, comu testimonia u so culuri pallidu. Mo mugghìeri, chi jè 'na fìmmina assái cchiù nicu, avi finarmenti scupertu chi sapuri duvribberu aviri i zippuli. Da Emma is a hidden Italian gem located right in downtown Montreal. Since the restaurant itself is located below street level, many people pass by this little trattoria every day without realizing it. The only sign for it is painted on a nearby brick wall in black and white and consists entirely of a downward pointing arrow and the word "Emma". It is because it is a little hard to find that diners feel like they are in on a secret not everyone knows about.Inside, Da Emma goes with a sleek and modern style complete with dark wood tones and white tablecloths. The menu consists of both classic and modern Italian plates. Some of the intricate plates that the kitchen puts out include fettucini with porcini mushroom and truffle, veal breast in rosemary sauce, four cheese tortellini in alfredo sauce and house made meatballs in marinara.
