Inspired by her flavorful travels, Candy DeBartolo set out to bring something different to North Tampa’s food scene: a dining destination where everything that happens around the table is considered sacred—a place where every detail matters. Together with her team of passionate experts, she opened Sacred Pepper to provide the community with new twists on classic favorites in an inviting atmosphere. Locally sourced ingredients and made-from-scratch pastas and sauces highlight a Contemporary American menu with dashes of Mediterranean flair. Cocktails are inspired by cultures from around the world as well as modern, traditional, and pre-prohibition tastes.

The food and drinks were terrific. Our server was attentive and friendly. There was a larger crowd in the room with us that made it extremely noisy and unfortunately detracted from our experience.

My husband and I absolutely love it here! The service is unmatched! The food never misses and the live music adds a special touch! We drive 2 hours at least once a month sometimes more just to come here!

Very loud place. Didn't need the live music as the place was so loud you couldn't really hear it well and most didn't seem to be paying attention to the singer.

I was deciding on someplace special to go for my birthday and selected The Sacred Pepper! It had been a while since we had been there and I'm so happy we went back. Our service was wonderful! From Bobby at the Bar, to our Server Danielle, to the chefs behind the scenes, our evening was great! It was totally a staff the Manager, Stacy, can be proud of! Even Gabe at the Host Stand was awesome. The food was soooo delicious! Everything came out just as ordered and very flavorful! I was even treated to a nice Molten Lava Cake with a candle to celebrate my birthday. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

What a fantastic dinner tonight at Sacred Pepper. Started with a fine wine recommended by my server "Adam" and he is the "Best" Very attentive, friendly, personable, efficient, and makes you feel welcomed. And all the service staff work well together to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable dinner. I started with the Buffalo Cauliflower ( fresh-fried cauliflower bites topped with Sriracha aioli and served with cool-herbed ranch dressing, house-made pickled cucumber) which was very flavorful and plenty to share. For my dinner I had one of my favorites, the Deluxe Mixed Grill ( oak-grilled 8oz. Certified Hereford Angus sirloin steak topped with 6 seared shrimp and cabernet demi-glace) and I got to choose 2 sides with it. You can't go wrong with this dinner and it is always delicious and filling. It's more than dinner, it's a memorable dining experience!

Excellent evening out! Dinner was delicious. The Ahi Tuna bowl was flavorful and plentiful, the chicken parmesan came with 2 large chicken breasts and homemade pasta and the shrimp pasta special was tasty! Service was exceptional. We were seated at a booth in the bar, which we always prefer. Wish I remembered the servers name, he was on point. The bartender was also very friendly and accommodated a special request. Even the entertainment during dinner was good. Perfect voice and songs for a restaurant. Overall… 5 stars! Oh… the hostesses were great too. We made a reservation and were seated at the time requested. Great experience!
