Sapore Italiano is a relaxed Italian eatery known for its tasty bread and hearty cuisine. The restaurant serves everything, from pizzas and salads, to veal scaloppine Marsala and tiger prawns with a basil and white wine sauce. Try Sapore Italiano's homemade meat lasagna or signature insalata Sapore with greens, chicken breast, raisins and sliced apples in a balsamic vinaigrette for lunch. Sapore Italiano's dinner menu includes irresistible antipasti like carpaccio Veneto with raw beef, shaved Parmesan, arugula, Dijon mustard, olive oil and lemon. The restaurant's rigatoni with ground sausage and vegetarian pizza are both standout dishes. A large wine list includes a nice variety of Italian and Californian wines.                                                       Got the Brussel sprouts which were good. All four of us got the vongole. It had a slightly funky taste to it. It wasn’t the clams. We’re thinking it was the pasta. We still ate it but don’t plan on coming back. Disappointed.

                                                      Waited for an hour just to get our salads. Then one came with anchovies and the other didn’t. Then waited another 10-15 to get our meals. On a Tuesday night. They said it was because the had a big party, but that’s unacceptable to other paying guests. No concern or apologies were given.

                                                      Outstanding food, impeccable service, the only reason it didn’t get 5 Stars is because it was noisy upstairs. Mainly because there was a very large group and they were trying to speak to everyone. Otherwise it was a great way to celebrate my birthday with family.

                                                      We had a family dinner for our group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone loved their food ranging from gnocchi to eggplant parmesan. Our service was excellent and the manager is the most friendly Italian!
