Sazón is owned and operated by Jose and Manny Navarro. We are the only authentic, and highest reviewed Peruvian Restaurant north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Sazón serves up a variety of appetizers, ceviches, soups and salads, vegetarian plates, sandwiches and classic meals.

Our family is originally from Lima, where authentic Peruvian recipes were passed down by our great-grandmother, Maria Olinda, who herself came from Peruvian, African, Spanish and Italian ancestry. Peruvian cuisine fuses different periods from the South American country's history, from the ancient Inca empire through the Spanish conquest, which brought in slaves from Africa and China; further influences came from Italian and Japanese immigrants, blending indigenous foods of Peru and cooking methods of four continents into a unique taste

This was a surprise jewel of the day. You can feel the love in the preparation and service of the food. From the ceviche, to the mouth watering empanadas, followed by the halibut. We could’ve eaten our way through the menu. You can sense the family value of sharing a culture to fulfill hungry appetites.

Amazing food. Wonderful flavors. Shrimp Ala pisco - light tomato garlic +more sauce I ate with my spoon till all gone. Crab and shrimp filled wonton wrappers were delicate and crispy. The two dips were equally delicious. Empanadas filled with pork were fantastic. Can't wait to try the other fillings. I'll be back.
