A traditional New England restaurant with modern touches, Scales is located on Maine Wharf next to the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal. Enjoy classic fried seafood as well as locally sourced land fare, while enjoying the view of a quintessential working Maine harbor.

Bar seating is available for dinner service by reservation only. Please check with the host to inquire about bar seating.

Our lounge is open for cocktails and raw bar every day beginning at 4:30pm Sunday - Thursday, and 4:00pm Friday - Saturday.

We are only able to seat complete parties at this time. Please note: our patio reservations are weather dependent. If we need to make a change because of weather, we will call you on the day of your reservation to cancel or reschedule your booking.

Overall, Scales was wonderful!! My husbands lobster was everything he wanted however my lobster roll tasted good but just was a smaller portion than expected. I would definitely return but try something else.

We had an excellent meal and appreciated the prompt but not pushy service. Our meal was well paced despite the Valentine’s Day rush. Food was outstanding and I wanted to slurp up the steamers broth at the end.

So tasty, great ambiance, attentive and friendly service. The duck was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed the mussels and haddock too.

Wanted to enjoy Scales for my birthday. Greeted and seated immediately. We had a great seat b;y the windows. Our server Ben was excellent. We ordered and enjoyed drinks first. The food is excellent! Baked haddock, coleslaw, fried oysters and the truly wonderful endive and Stilton salad. Loved the warm welcome we received as well as the wonderful ambiance of the restaurant. Busy and bustling and a great place to dine. Will surely go back again and again.
