We have been here before for lunch, dinner and during all different days of the week. It gets busy and a bit noisy during the later part of the week but not too bad. This last time we tried with friends of our on a Monday night it was quiet and not busy and we had the most enjoyable time!

Delicious flavorings. So fresh. Very friendly service. A little dark in terms of lighting in the restaurant for daytime. However, the food made up for it.

We’ve been to sea Thai bistro many times in the past and I’ve always been happy with it and it’s been pretty much our favorite. But this last visit changed that. Firstly it was a Friday night and that’s probably not the best time because there’s just too much expectation in generally kind of extra noisy. The service was on the slow side and they seem to tad grumpy. The food was not good. This time the pad Thai was a big, huge clump of noodles, poorly arranged, and over oiled. The Bangkok ribeye was a little better, but still the chunks were too fatty and over oily. With really good Thai food I expect super fresh vegetables very lightly oiled well presented and just generally super fresh and that’s not what we got this night. My daughter had just basic white rice and just chicken with nothing on it and I kinda wish that’s what I got. And what made it painful was after the three of us eight and only one got an alcoholic drink. The total ending bill with tip was $134 . If it was all good or mostly good I probably would’ve been OK with that cost but really it felt like a one or one and a half star experience this night. I’m not sure if we’re gonna be back unless things improve. I have this feeling that they’re starting to skimp on ingredients quality, cooking quality, staffing, levels in general staff quality. I’ve seen similar reviews on yelp that seem to show a decline. We live very close by, but will probably not be going back anytime too soon. I give this review with the hope that it will improve because I would like to see Thai bistro doing well. I also realize there are some significant challenges running a restaurant with a high cost of food and difficulty getting good staff. I find it to be a general trend with restaurants we find ourselves not really wanting to go out very much and making much better stuff at home in general.

I have always enjoyed Sea Thai bistro as one of my favorite restaurants when visiting Santa Rosa. The Pad Thai was not as good as I remembered. So it was somewhat disappointing. Other than that, our food was good. Cocktails were good. I prefer a whole pepper in the spicy Thai daiquiris, rather than just bits of pepper seeds. Good evening, could have been better.

Starter’s Parade is pretty much a meal for two, all delicious. We add a couple bowls of soup we are too full to finish. Only criticism is that tables are too close together, very noisy.
