TONY OUNPAMORNCHAI, is the Co-Owner and Executive Chef of SEA Thai Bistro and SEA Noodle Bar in Sonoma County. His Thai heritage and Santa Rosa roots make for an unique combination. His menu dynamically blends Asian and modern California ingredients.

Travelling the world for many years, he brings his appreciation for global cuisine to his menu. Great food, excellent service, affordable. Oysters were awesome, Pot Stickers were super good, wife had the lemongrass soup and then Pad Thai. Corkage “ cheap” drinks great, Server PK was great.                                                                                                                                 Full disclosure - our group's (4 people) primary reason to go Sea Thai on this day was because they were one of the select restaurants in the area with Russian River Breweries coveted 2025 Pliny the Younger IPA on tap. We sat at the bar and were allowed one 8-ounce pour each. While we would have preferred more, we understood they were trying to accommodate as many people as possible. We ordered a sampler appetizer advertised for two people and when it arrived, we were surprised to see three pieces of each item. Thinking it was our good fortune; we happily ate it as we sipped our beer. It was only when the bill came that we saw we had been up charged for the larger sampler plate which we did not request. The food was average and certainly not worth the $51 dollars we had been charged. Lesson learned. My husband and I frequent Sea Thai for their Peanut Curry noodles which we love, and we most certainly will be back to enjoy that dish again and again. As we most things though, we have seen an increase in the menu prices and I'm sorry to say, it will likely prevent us from ordering an appetizer in the future.

                                                                                                                                Lunch at noon meant crowded tables and loud indoor space ( the outside area was closed due to rain and cold). Service was fast and smooth, food excellent as always. One had the massaman curry, the other the red curry, both the veggie option. Large portions, perfect spiciness, and plenty to take home. It’s always a fave!
