Seasons 52 is a Fresh Grill and Wine Bar offering a seasonal menu that is naturally lighter and always flavorful. Our seasonal menus feature ingredients at their peak of freshness, oak-fire grilled or brick oven roasted (without a fryer in sight) to be naturally lighter and more flavorful. We enjoyed the food pairing menu…your choice of a listed flatbread and soup for a set price. Delicious comfort food! Actually, their food is consistently good. Our server was attentive…(even paying attention to our water glasses) and friendly.

We love this Season 52. We have an annual lunch or dinner with the same friends there associated with a Boston College basketball game usually vs Notre Dame . This year it was Syracuse. The location in Chestnut Hill on Rt 9/Boylston is very convenient. Lots of parking if the valet's aren't there, plus additional shopping options. Now for the service, menu, meal preparation. Everything starts with unfailingly welcoming reception area. Friendly, smiling, eye contact. With reservations they know you are coming. If it is through Open Table they know what you have enjoyed in the past. Because the table configurations and the sound level it is easy to enjoy a conversation among yourselves without having to overhear those around you. Our waiter greeted us very quickly offering menus and water. He was back soon thereafter to collect drink orders if we wished or to take our orders. Because we had all chosen from the Pairings lunch menu, we were comfortable requesting beverages (very nice wine and beer selections for the gentlemen) my spouse choose a very imaginative "Buzz Free" beverage that she really enjoyed: a "Botanical Mash". There were three other choices. The extensive full menu was very attractive, but the "lunch menu" caught the attention of everyone at our table. The Pairings of half a flat bread and one of several soups or salads were imaginative. We all order different options. Among us we had a mushroom, cheesesteak, chipotle and BBQ shrimp flatbreads. They were accompanied by the Farmhouse Chicken and mushroom soups we thought were awesome. Our friends had a field greens and romaine caesar. Each order was a very reasonable $14.00. It was an excellent experience professionally facilitate by waiter who, regrettably, I lost track of his name when our dining partners insisted on paying for the meal since we bought the game tickets so I did not have the receipt. As you have already concluded we high recommend Seasons 52 at Chestnut Hill!

The reservation and seating system seemed very disorganized. We were also placed at a small table surrounded by large parties, which increased the noise level. However, the service was outstanding. Our waiter was very personable and attentive to our needs. He made the evening a wonderful experience! The food was very good, as well.

Always an excellent experience: good energy in the room, attentive knowledgeable people in service, drinks just right and the inventive menu never disappoints.
