Come in, relax and enjoy one of New England's finest dining experiences! Our restaurant, which is a Stately Federal Home built in 1786, offers a beautiful setting for entertaining friends, family, and business associates, or just a relaxing night out. We feature a complete five course dinner. Our menu changes seasonally and always includes Roast Prime Rib of Beef, fresh fish, poultry and vegetarian options. We also offer gluten free and vegan meals upon request.

We come here every year from California to see the fall colors, and Sedgely Place is always a highlight of our trip! Great food, wonderful staff and a place full of history will be the highlight of your experience here!

We had two friends who had never been there before and they were absolutely amazed and we all loved the place.

Knowing that the restaurant has been sold, we wondered how it would be. Just as good as ever. The Prime Rib was amazing.

food was terrible. so cold, the cheese in fr onion soup was congealed!! steak came out cold. no non alcoholic beer as I requested, they had 1, then said they had more that they just put on ice for him. then came back 10 mins later and said they didn't have any. then charged us for a diet soda. my so called lobster,scallop, and haddock chowder had none of that in it. it was more of a bisque.it was freezing in the restaurant. there was a woman watching a video, loudly on her phone. we had to ask them to speak with her.240$ (we always leave over 20%)later, needless to say, we were extremely disappointed. we always try and support local businesses,and would not mind paying for a great meal, but this was truly not even just ok.

The service was exceptional, but the pricing and the quantity of the food was not what I expected. Two drinks and the five course meal for 2 was over $200.00. Considering we were there, not even six months ago and for 4 of us we paid $300.00, including the tip.

The food was excellent as always and our server, Déja, was a delight. Her sense of humor and attention to what was occurring - who was finished with what - was superb.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD!!!!! MY FILET MIGNON WAS FULL OF GRIZZLE, AND THE FOOD WAS SERVED COLD!

Really enjoyed dining again here as usual. Great service, delicious food enjoyed at a leisurely pace in in a lovely, historic location. Love the multi courses. We had a lovely chat with the friendly new owner who is thankfully continuing the tasty traditions with some great new additions at this local gem!
