Shearns Seafood and Prime Steaks is pleased to now be available on Open-Table. Dressy Casual attire required. No Shorts, Rompers, Tee Shirts or Tank Tops, Collard Shirts Required. Jeans are allowed on the dining room floor-no cuts offs or ripped jeans.

We both had the Thanksgiving special and added the appetizer from the fall special (fondue) and all was absolutely spectacular! Truly a memorable meal! As always, the service was impeccable.

Our reservation was at 5:30 in the evening on a Saturday and I had made it early so that we had our choice of tables and view. It was a special celebration two birthdays in a 40 year wedding anniversary for table of five. We were stuck in a corner Where we couldn’t see anything. when we ask if we could be moved, they told us there weren’t any available tables even though there were six available tables at the time we left and during our whole dinner, we were not allowed to move. There was a cabinet blocking our view. It was very cold. The soup was cold and when we left and got hard to go bags I got home and my whole crab cake had gone home with someone else. I was unsure whether to eat any of my other leftovers being unaware of whose they were.

My guests and I had our wonderful first experience at Shearns this evening and it couldn't have been better. From the host to the waiter, the staff was exceptional, very professional yet warm. The food was excellent. We had the lobster and shrimp fondue for an appetizer and all had the filet mignon and lobster for our main course. Everything was wonderful. We shall return on our next visit to the island.

The food and choices are fantastic…but the staff makes this experience outstanding….we have been here several times and is on our “must do” list of places to eat…

This is our favorite place, out of everything available, in Galveston. The views are breath taking, the food is fabulous, and the staff is very friendly & helpful. It couldn't be better!
