Questa volta siamo stati molto meno entusiastici. Il servizio non era il massimo, tutto durava, i piatti non sono stati portati insieme, mancavano le posate, l’attesa per delle bibite 15 minuti in più...Come scusa era un matrimonio, ma il nostro staff faceva delle chiacchiere e non era coinvolto nel matrimonio. Il cibo è buono, il resto assolutamente da migliorare! Peccato!

Buon posto nel cuore di Ottawa dove si mangia benissimo la cucina asiatica! Da raccomandare!

Located in the heart of the market, tucked away off the a major street. Loved the decor & layout - spacious, high ceilings, rocks walls, chandeliers, different levels, and a section with floor to ceiling (inclusive) windows. Our waiter was attentive & friendly but unobtrusive. Menu choices were kept within a reasonable quantity and food was very tasty.

Delicious dinner with my nephew and the service was friendly and helpful. Have been to Sidedoor many times and it did not disappoint. We’ll be back.

We loved the food! The service was a bit slow last night, compared to other times we’ve gone. The hockey game being on TV was also a bit distracting!

Our dinner was a great experience all around. The atmosphere was great, the service was wonderful. We went for the 5 course valentines menu ($90 per person). For the most part, the food was delicious but there were a few exceptions. The breaded cauliflower had a huge lump of flour in it (literally powder inside our bite, but hey it happens!) and the prawns were not cleaned out (black stripe inside). We got our banana split at the end with melted ice cream which just wasn’t right and sloppy. I would hope that, for this price point, that the quality of food would be above par but it was a little below. Thanks otherwise for a great evening.

Outstanding experience here for several reasons. First, I could hear my fellow guest talk across the table. The accoustics help to absorb competing sounds and it was not noisy at all. Second, the seating is very comfortable. Third, restrooms are clean and well stocked. Finally, the food is delicious including the coffee. Bonus marks for exquisite presentation, lovely glasses and beer tumblers. Spacious, welcoming restaurant. One more thing: best donuts I have tasted in well over 15 years. They are the real thing.
