Went for the Thanksgiving dinner. Good thing we made reservations because they were not taking walk ins. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes before someone came and took our drink orders. Another 8 minutes before our waiter came and took our order. The timing between each course was good enough to enjoy each plate before the next one came out. Portion sizes were good. Flavors were ok. I understand it was busy but just a few quirks: 1. I should have to remind our waiter 3 times that I wanted red wine and he still brought out white. 2. I had to ask for my wife’s iced tea long after we placed our order and got our first course. And sweetener should always accompany iced tea. 3. Waiter should be more attentive when taking out order. He was distracted looking across the room and didn’t acknowledge what we were saying.

We thoroughly enjoyed the special Thanksgiving menu. The food was very flavorful and the presentation was superb. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Our waiter Matt and his assistant Marissa were the absolute best. They paid such close attention to any and all of our needs. They were extremely polite, professional but so kind, understanding and lovely. People like Matt and Marissa keep us coming back to Silverado again and again. Thank you.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Silverado Steak House in South Point casino. We had a nice round table for 8. We were seated on time, the service and the food were excellent!! We all ordered off the special Thanksgiving menu which was a $66.00 four course meal. It also included a bottle of wine for two to share. Wonderful value. We hope to do it again next year.

Our waitress was ok, but her assistant, Marissa, was excellent. We were celebrating 5 birthdays and they brought us a plate of benets on the house. The food was excellent and bountiful.

Simply said. It's a gourmet restaurant without gourmet prices. You are able to dress casually but treated like a much more expensive restaurant. It's very comfortable and I believe a less expensive version of any comparable restaurant.

T and I started with the excellent French Onion Soup while J had the lobster bisque. J and I had the included salad and T had a Caesar salad, which is pretty big. T and J had the eight-ounce filet, and I had the bone-in ribeye cooked a perfect medium rare, with a baked potato. All were outstanding. I noticed our waiter gave a birthday crème brulee to the table near us so I kiddingly told him it was all three of our birthdays. Imagine our surprise when he brought us each that freebee. I told him I was just kidding but I think he just wanted to be nice to us. We adjusted our tips accordingly and the desert was really good.

The food, service and atmosphere is always above par. The Lobster Bisque soup is the best in Las Vegas. Jose our waiter is always there to impress us and give suggestions. He’s also great at pairing wines with the entree. We highly recommend Silverado Steak House at South Point Casino.
