    Prices (higher) don’t reflect quality of food or service. French onion soup had pieces of onions that were not chewable. Figured out they had cut the skins in with the sliced onions. After about 4 unchewable onion pieces, I gave up on the soup. The famous crab artichoke dip was “fishy” tasting, not as good as it used to be. The fish and chips were over priced at $36 for 3 deep fried pieces of halibut about 2-2.5” x 1”. They tried to make up for it with too many fries. Overly deep fried. Definitely better taste, presentation and price elsewhere in town. They did give us a free dessert for our bday girl…but all in all prob won’t make Simon’s a “favorite” or even a “once in a while” visit. What happened to the old Simon’s? It’s gone downhill.

    The food at Simon and seaforts is great. We had the crab artichoke dip as an appetizer. The members of our party had the halibut, fish and chips, the salmon, BLT, a sandwich, and the Cobb salad with chicken. Everyone was very pleased. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was extremely attentive, but not over bearing. And today our view of Mount Susitna and the inlet was outstanding.

    Simon’s has been a great restaurant at least since we came to Anchorage in 1979. Service and food are aces all around.

    Excellent dinner, we always love the crab & artichoke dip too. Though we wish they still had the brie as well. Service was wonderful, it was a very enjoyable experience in all.

    Always amazing for special occasions as it was a favorite when we lived here and did not disappoint for our 25th Anniversary.

    Our server was named John and he was outstanding. The ambiance and view is fantastic. The dessert was the only thing I felt wasn't worth the calories. (Baked Alaska)

    Came for dinner today - especially to try King Crabs. They were perfect! So were the salmon and halibut. Service was impeccable!

    Dinner was a three course meal with plenty of choices for each course. Everything was fabulous!

    I love supporting the local restaurants, and Simon & Seaforts does not disappoint! They have amazing staff and their food is always amazing! We had an issue with an appetizer that was late to the table, but it was Christmas day, so it was understandably busy. We just boxed it up and ate it at home. I highly recommend this establishment!
