Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 3,100 selections and an inventory of 15,500 selections. The restaurant is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

                                                      They do fish VERY well, brussel sprouts April 2024 are a nice combo of vegetable and delicious appetizer - improved. Great place, we are there 2-3 times a month.

                                                      Love the structure! The brick, high ceilings, fireplace and the separate bar area. Outdoor dining as well. Our server, Brion, was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. The Shrimp and Grits was a generous portion and delectable. Braised Short Rib also had a wonderful flavor and delightful. Great place for a party of two or larger.

                                                      Basically ignored due to larger party and we were there for birthday dinner. Food was reasonably good but won’t go back. For that level of pricing decent service should be included.

                                                      We had the most amazing serving team of Keri & Cece! The food and restaurant were great but the service was OUTSTANDING! Soby’s reputation is well-earned. We will be back.
