   Greens and okara were horrible. The baby back ribs were ok but nothing special. Would not return.

   We needed to be in and out in an hour, not an easy task with 10 people but our server was fantastic. Food was delicious southern-comfort style on a freezing Denver night, perfect for the occasion. We will return!

   We took a group here for Denver Restaurant Week. The appetizers were pretty good, especially the fried green tomatoes and the chipotle/bbq ranch dipping sauce they came with. We also really liked the tater tots (maybe becuase we could drench them in the amazing rance sauce again). My honey salmon was very well cooked and had good flavors. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely good and more light than the other offerings for DRW. However, 3 others in our group got the steak poutine. The steak and gravy came out cold and had to be sent back. The third person ordered her steak medium and it came out (very) well done. Besides this, the service was great and the waiter brought out new, warm dishes promptly. The mudslide brownie at the end made up for everything at the end. It was DIVINE!!!

   The food at Southern hospitality was absolutely amazing. They had all the food a southern girl could ask for. The ambiance was also very cute and the bar was amazing. The service though was terrible. The waitress got 3/8 orders wrong and it took 15 minutes to fix. Also with just entrées and dessert it took 2.5 hours!!! I do suggest the sweet tea if you go they make it in house.

   If you're not looking for anything special, this place is fine. Usually has tables available and the food is okay. In a city with so many great restaurants, I'd certainly pick something else.

   As a native Texan who has moved to Denver, BBQ is an essential of life. Southern Hospitality for the most part fits the need. They have a great selection of southern cuisine and their BBQ brisket is outstanding. Likewise the pulled pork is great as well. Don't forget to try the Pecan Pie or Bread Pudding afterward - both are amazingly good.

   My friend and I met to catch up for the first time. Atmosphere was nice, but nothing to write home about. I don't remember it as I'm writing this review and it was two days ago. We ordered drinks, but were both disappointed by our respective choices. They were "so-so," but we were not delicious as you always want a cocktail to be. She loved her catfish platter. I had a combo platter (beef brisket and pulled pork) with collard greens. The beef brisket was flavor, but overcooked/dry. The greens were okay, but not like my family's (Georgia and Alabama representing!) The pulled pork was excellent! Very well seasoned and I would go back just to have that. Our waiter was great, very attentive and good sense of humor.

    We had a reasonably good experience at this restaurant. Service was not great. The platters were a little expensive especially because the only got two items on your platter. The food is good, and well prepared. I just would not rate this is an extremely good value.
