We are a fresh breath of class and style in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Located in Southern Pines, we offer an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and sophistication, where steak is our specialty. We have an extensive wine cellar featuring 3500 bottles, 20 of which we are pouring by the glass. Please join us between 5pm and 6pm to receive $3 off all entrees and steaks.

                                                                                                    My aged Ribeye was very fatty, which carreied little flavor. My wife had scsllops which were very good. The birthday chocolate eruption cake was burnt at tge bottom. Very disppounted!

                                                                                                    All courses were amazing. We had the cheese tray which was much larger than we were anticipating. . Crab cakes. They were fried but still very tasty. Aged ribeye was literally the best we’ve ever had.

                                                                                                    We had a very nice birthday dinner for my wife. We have dined at Southern Prime on several occasions and have always enjoyed it! Their steaks are excellent.

Our steaks and bread and butter were delicious, however the potato, not so much. It was cold and would not melt our butter. Lesson learned: never get a baked potato again. Waitress was great. I will go back!

                                                                                                    I ordered a baked potato with my sirloin. The steak was cooked perfectly but the baked potato was cold. Green beans were excellent and so was the coffee.

                                                                                                    So tonight was our very first experience at Southern Prime. Our overall experience was more than positive. The ambience, and most especially the service was exceptional. Absolutely no complaints. We loved our server, loved the ambience, loved the decor. We ordered as a starter the bruschetta. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. The presentation was wonderful the deliciously gummy balsamic was over the top. Our mains were the 8 ounce ribeye and lobster mac & cheese for my beloved, and for me the 10 ounce lobster tail with cheesy grits and sautéed mushrooms. The 8 ounce ribeye was perfectly presented medium rare just as we ordered it. Beautifully done. The lobster tail was briny and perfectly done. Our overall impression is that Southern Prime has a fantastic menu, and has a service staff that appears to be truly engaged and happy to be there, which is half the battle in the service industry. Our thanks to the Southern Prime staff. We had a great time. Thank you so much for the great service!
